But when they met together, what did they do? Acts 2:42 says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” They sought a deeper understanding of their faith together, prayed with one another, and shared a meal together. Very similar to how we do community today! Our model for Neighborhood Groups comes from the same place. We want you to experience community as shown in the Scriptures and how Christ intended.
Focusing on learning, praying, and enjoying time together will help us to grow in every way. We will deepen our faith, develop a vibrant prayer life, and build strong bonds with other believers. Community enriches our lives in every way! Sunday worship is great, but Neighborhood Groups give us a special opportunity to worship and connect with one another on a smaller, more intimate scale. We need more than one day a week to devote to meeting together and celebrating the Lord. That’s why Neighborhoods Groups exist. Their intention is to help create a lifestyle of worship and Community throughout your week as well.
God has called you to devote yourself to fellowship. There, you will grow in your faith in ways you could never have imagined before. Saying yes to community is saying yes to the Lord. Jesus wants to join you in your time together. Will you answer His call today?
